About Kenmore Collectibles

Kenmore Collectibles is a personal, hands-on sports card business built on experience, transparency, and trust. My name is Peter Leventhal, and I’ve spent over three decades buying, selling, and evaluating sports cards and collectibles — long before the hobby became crowded, fast, and confusing.

I owned and operated a successful sports card shop in Boston for many years, working directly with collectors, families, and estates. After relocating to Florida in 2021, I continued this work in a more focused, appointment-based setting — offering careful evaluation, honest guidance, and clear options for people who want to make smart decisions with their collections.

Experience You Can Rely On

The sports card market has changed dramatically. Prices fluctuate quickly, grading standards matter more than ever, and not every card — or service — is right for every situation. My role is to help you slow things down, understand what you actually have, and decide what makes sense before you spend money grading, selling, or consigning.

I don’t rely on hype or shortcuts. Every consultation is based on physically examining cards, drawing on years of grading experience, and explaining trade-offs clearly — not pushing a single outcome.

How I Work With Clients

Some clients come to me after inheriting a collection. Others are returning to the hobby after many years away. Many simply want a second opinion from someone who has no incentive to rush the process. In every case, the goal is the same: clarity, direction, and confidence.

Consultations are conducted in person, by appointment, in Sarasota. From there, clients may choose to move forward with buying, consignment, grading submission, or no next step at all. The consultation stands on its own.

A Focused, Transparent Approach

Kenmore Collectibles is not a walk-in retail store — and that’s intentional. This structure allows me to work closely with each client, set clear expectations, and give collections the time and attention they deserve.

If you’re looking for straightforward guidance, honest answers, and a thoughtful approach to the modern sports card market, I’d be glad to help.
