Fenway Victory Gardens. A Hidden Gem in the City.

I wanted to share this. Kenmore is not just Fenway Park. If you take a right at the corner of Commonwealth and Charlesgate West and go up the Overpass, in the short distance is the Fenway Victory Gardens, a patchwork of plots, that individual garden enthusiasts farm and cultivate.  Created back during WWII when it was fashionable to dig up available public lands and farm vegetables for the war effort. I take my dog Nora up there once a day.   Folks plant flowers, create little stone paths, install ponds with fish, sit in Cape Cod chairs and enjoy mother nature. It is a beautiful sight to see in the middle of Boston, this colorful oasis. Fenway Victory GardensIf you are interested in learning more about the Fenway Victory Gardens. Click Here.
