Kenmore Collectibles
Vol. 2, No. 27
Week of July 26th, 2010
Dear Collector,

The one cool thing about running a collectibles shop is you never know how the day is going to go.  Sure, it can be a little nerve wracking but generally, it keeps us optimistic.  May be this will be the day, the big collection arrives and we get to retire. LOL. So far that has not happened.  Don't get me wrong.  We do see our share of fun stuff.  This past week, we made an offer on a Babe Ruth Signed Photo (we didn't get it).  We also made an offer on $120.00 in silver coin (that's $1320.00) which we did purchase.  We chalk up successful purchases as little victories.  That customer came to us, out of all the other shops out there, and decided that our offer was the best.  Personally, It can be quite gratifying making a deal with a customer.  It is probably my favorite part of this job.  Last week was a fun week.  We picked up some great stuff.

chipper jonesThis week's Offer:  We are stocked up on One Ounce Silver Coins.  Mike has told me that if you mention this newsletter, you can purchase ONE American Silver Eagle Coin for $22.00, a savings of $3.00.  We are also stocked up on jersey and autograph cards.  We got a great deal on them.  Cards that book for $8.00 - $20.00, we are offering for $2.00 - $8.00 each.  Come by and check them out.

Six Packs, five cards per pack.  $50.00 Pack, $295.00 Box.

Each box contains three relic cards and three signature cards, all numbered 99 or less.

One lucky person will find a five panel card with nine signatures of the 1927 Yankees Starting Line-Up.

Currently Stephen Strasburg Redemption cards are selling between $500.00 - $600.00 on eBay.  Unlike the Allen & Ginter product, collectors are readily finding these cards.

We opened a pack  hoping to find perhaps a Jason Heyward, Jackie Robinson or Albert Pujols Signature card.  Here's what we got.... We didn't get what we were hoping for but the cards are still gorgeous cards.
