Today’s Find: Republic of Mexico 8 Real Coins, 19th Century

Kenmore Collectibles buys foreign coins

Visit this post everyday and be the first to know what just walked in the door at Kenmore Collectibles.

My Dad, Ed Leventhal owned the premier coin shop in Boston, J.J. Teaparty Coin from the 1960s – 2000s.  He was well-respected in the coin business. I’m very proud of him.  He gave me some great advice (and still tells me). “Put a few coins away for your old age.”. These Republic of Mexico 8 Real Coins listed in Today’s Find are some of his treasures he “put away”.

Mexican Eagle on obverse with snake in beak, liberty cap on reverse. Made of .903 Silver.
