Saturday, I put out a small buy page for Boston Bobbleheads. They look cool and they are fun to collect. If you missed the post there is a link the bottom of this post. My hope was I would see some of the newer Fenway give-aways offered to us. I never really expected to see Bobbles from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. I have Red Sox Nation Fan Club and Steven Thorpe to thank for these new acquisitions. Steve is an avid Boston Sports fan. One of his passions is to get autographs from his favorite Boston athletes. Today Mookie Betts was the guest of honor at the Red Sox Nation Fan Club luncheon held down the street from us at the Hotel Commonwealth. Since Steve was a club member, he stopped by. As a pleasant surprise, he told me he wanted to trade the Mookie Betts Bowman Sterling Rookie I highlighted yesterday in Monday’s Today’s Find post for several bobbleheads I was looking for on my buy list. In the end, it worked out great for Steve (he got the Mookie Rookie and got a picture posing with Mookie and Kenmore Collectibles got some fabulous bobbleheads
